About This Workshop
Scientific research is often framed within paradigms of concepts, definitions, axioms, and assumptions — RL is no exception. This workshop examines the conceptual foundations of RL and their impact on framing problems.
The first half features four short talks representing different perspectives on RL, followed by a panel discussion. The second half opens the floor to submitted work including poster sessions and lightning talks. Topics include proposals beyond the standard RL paradigm, rethinking goals/models/values/rewards, novel benchmarks, and philosophy of science in RL.
